Next-Day Cake Shop Cancellation Policy

Cancellations: 5 or More Days Before Pickup/Delivery

If you cancel your order five (5) or more days before your scheduled pickup date, you are eligible for a full refund minus a 3.5% processing fee.

Why This Policy Exists

At this stage, RISE has not yet allocated resources, purchased specialized ingredients, or begun production on your order. Additionally, with sufficient notice, we may be able to reallocate your reserved slot to another customer. Because of this, we are happy to offer a full refund, less the processing fee.

Cancellations: 3 to 5 Days Before Pickup/Delivery

If you request a cancellation of your order within 3-5 days of your original order pickup date, we offer one of the following:

  • Full credit towards a future order at RISE Bakery, valid for one year (365 days); or
  • 50% refund of your order total, minus a 3.5% processing fee

Why This Policy Exists

At this stage, we have already allocated time in our schedule and resources to your order. Specialized ingredients may have been purchased, and portions of production may have already begun. However, since the final order has not yet been completed, we offer the flexibility of a full credit towards a future order or a 50% refund minus the 3.5% processing fee. This helps us manage costs while still providing a fair resolution for cancellations within this timeframe.

Cancellations: Within 3-days of Pickup/Delivery

If you cancel your order within 3 days of your scheduled pickup date, you have the following options:

  • no monetary refund; or
  • Donate your completed order to a local charity through RISE.

Why This Policy Exists

At this stage, most or all of your order has already been completed, and it is unlikely that we can fill your reserved slot with another customer’s order. Since we are unable to resell completed orders, cancellations at this point result in a total loss for RISE. For this reason, we are unable to offer a monetary refund. However, we do provide the option to donate your order to a local charity, ensuring it goes to a worthy cause.

Cancellations: 10 or More Days Before Pickup/Delivery

If you cancel your order ten (10) or more days before your scheduled pickup date, you are eligible for a full refund minus a 3.5% processing fee.

Returns, Exchanges, Payment & Delivery

At RISE Bespoke Bakery Co. LLC (hereinafter "RISE"), we are committed to delivering your orders with care and efficiency. Please review our Returns & Exchanges terms below for detailed information about our policies.

1. Returns, Exchanges

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. Please ensure your order is accurate before completing your purchase.

2. Delivery Times

Local deliveries are made in one-hour windows between 2pm and 6pm, Tuesday through Saturday, and between 12pm and 1pm on Sunday. Delivery may not be available on some holidays. Please contact RISE for details.

3. Payment Options

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diner's Club, JCB)
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Amazon Pay

4. Payment Requirements and Instructions

All orders must be paid in full at the time of checkout. For online payments, please ensure that your billing information matches your payment method to avoid delays. If your payment is declined, we recommend contacting your financial institution for assistance before retrying your order.

5. Refunds and Processing Recovery Fee

All refunds will be returned using the same payment method used at the time of purchase. For example, if you paid with a credit card, the refund will be applied to the same card.

Processing Recovery Fee: In the event of any refunded or returned payment, a processing recovery fee of up to 3.5% of the original transaction total will be applied to cover credit card processing costs. This fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.

Refund Approval: Refund requests are subject to approval and may take up to ten (10) business days to process.
